Our Projects
Recently, the Power, Gender, and Sexuality research team has been working on a research project that seeks to understand the experiences of queer students at Catholic institutions of higher education. As part of this larger qualitative research project, this team is conducting interviews with current and past students of Catholic colleges and universities. "Queerness in the Shadow of Holy Cross"
This podcast investigates the intersections of the LGBTQIA+ experience, Catholicism, and faith formation. We utilize personal stories of students, alumni, and affiliates of Catholic education to explore queer experiences of faith.
This project is both our research input and output. As part of broader qualitative research, this podcast captures some of our data so we can share it with you! We hope this podcast is both a resource for queer people exploring faith, and a message to leaders of Catholic education institutions.
